Hollis Horner, Principal IAQ Consultant – B.S. Chemistry, MBA, MAC, CIEC, LEED AP
Hollis Horner, MAC, CIEC, LEED AP is a chemist with specialized knowledge and expertise in the areas of indoor air quality management, industrial hygiene sampling, environmental field sampling techniques, and LEED indoor environmental quality certification. He has been providing environmental consulting services for over 30 years, including government, commercial, industrial, health care, and laboratory areas of expertise. Hollis is accredited by Green Business Certification, Inc. (GBCI) as a LEED Accredited Professional, and has managed LEED Indoor Air Quality certification for over 30 projects. Hollis served on the Texas Department of Health Mold Task Force and on the Texas Residential Construction Commission – Mold Reduction and Remediation Task Force. He is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Mold Assessment Consultant.
James Reid, Senior IAQ Consultant – MAC, IAC, CIEC
James Reid, MAC, CIEC, IAC has 35 years of experience in the field of environmental evaluations, and prior to working with IEC served as Environmental Programs Director for the State of Texas General Services Commission. His areas of expertise include indoor air quality investigations for mold, asbestos, chemical exposure, hazardous materials, and particulate contamination. He has extensive experience in indoor air quality investigations, and has personally conducted over 5,000 field investigations. James is accredited as a Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC). He is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Asbestos Individual Consultant and by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation as a Mold Assessment Consultant.
Natalie Cancino, Operations Manager, Business Administrator – Bachelor of Science
Natalie Cancino has 25 years of experience in office administration, human resources, contract management, insurance management, payroll administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax, and invoicing. She is also proficient in client interface, laboratory coordination, field instrumentation, project management, and technical report preparation. Natalie holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. She has been with IEC since its inception in 2001.
