    Indoor Environmental Consultants, Inc. vision is founded in our continued commitment to ensure that indoor environments           are maintained at acceptable and healthy levels. We believe this can best be accomplished by maintaining a proactive stance dedicated to the health of these environments. We are constantly seeking ways to improve the quality of services we provide            to the community and look forward to becoming the premier national provider of proactive programs and testing to facilitate        healthy sustainable environments.

IEC Consultants hold certifications including:

  • Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional (CIAQP)
  • Council-certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC)
  • Council-certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor (CMRS)
  • Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS)
   IEC President and Principal IAQ Consultant Hollis L. Horner  also is a   LEED Accredited Professional BD+C  -      specialization in building design and construction. 

    Professional staff attend IAQ related symposiums, teach IAQ courses, and publish peer-reviewed IAQ literature to remain            on the cutting edge of IAQ science.

    American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) certified laboratories are employed for chemical and paticulate analysis.         IEC's preferred biological laboratory provider MYCOTECH BIOLOGICAL, INC. (MBI) participates in the AIHA microbial        proficiency analytical testing program EMPAT (#103006) to ensure quality control in mocrobial identification protocols.  Mycotech Biological is a Texas DSHS Liscensed Mold Analysis Laboratory Lic. # LAB0163.  In addition to participating in AIHA's EMPAT program, analysts at Mycotech Biological are certified spore analysts by the Pan American Aerobiology Certification Board.
